Wellies To Last A Lifetime

I know. Another shoe post already. You will soon realize I am an accessories kind of girl. I have always preferred to spend more on accessories than my clothes because you are able to wear them more often. To me that makes more sense. Shoes, in particular, are my weak point. I keep all of my shoes in their original boxes while they are not being worn. I know. Kind of nuts. My husband gives me a hard time about it, but when you are spending good money on shoes you want to keep them from laying around willy nilly. If I had a shoe closet like a celebrity, where all the shoes are beautifully displayed row upon row, then I would totally do it, but until then boxes will do. For Mother’s Day last year, I asked for a pair of Hunter boots. In my mind, they are THE classic rain boot. The British company started making boots in 1856 and they came out with the Classic in 1955. And even today each pair is handcrafted. That is the amazing part to me in this day and age. The Original come in a variety of colors these days, but I opted for the Dark Olive. It has traditionally been the most popular color in Great Britain. I find myself hoping for a little rain so that I can break them out. I wear them gardening, out to breakfast, walking to the coffee shop, or to the gym. I find them super comfortable to walk in. The only thing I will say as a slight negative is I have found that if you tuck your jeans into them, they will get a little steamy but I still do it because I love the look and the boot. Unless my feet decided to grow, this pair will be in my closet forever.

ITEM: Hunter Boot Original Tall

PRICE: $125

These boots are a MustHave because they are great quality, versatile boots that have a classic style.

I was not compensated by Hunter for this review and I purchased these boots on my own. Opinions are always my own.
